Dress Code

Preschool and Elementary Dress Code

Uniform Dress Code
Every Thursday at 8:15 am is Chapel for Preschool-6th Grade.  Please see dress code below.

 

DRESS AND GROOMING STANDARDS

UNIFORMS---Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

  • Polo Shirts---Navy blue, red, white and light blue (striped in these colors only)
  • Pants, Skorts, Shorts and Skirts---Navy blue, black, khaki (plaids in these colors only; shorts, skorts, and skirts must be no shorter than three inches above the knee.)
  • Shoes---All shoes must be closed-toe with the heel covered. Rubber soles are recommended.
  • Socks, Tights and Leggings---White, navy blue, light blue, red, or black.
  • Hair---Girls and boys must keep their hair cut and styled neatly. Boys hair must not be touching their shirt collar.
  • Undershirts---If undershirts are worn, they MUST be in school colors only.
  • Uniforms must be purchased in the uniform section of department stores.

 CHAPEL---Thursday

  • Boys must wear a white dress shirt and tie (no logos) with uniform pants or shorts.
  • Girls must wear a white collared blouse with uniform dress or skorts.

        Chapel Day & Cold Weather

  •  Girls are allowed to wear uniform pants only on chapel days if the projected high temperature for the day is going to be 50 degrees or lower. Parents can listen to 910 AM or 103.1 FM, or call the radio station at 244-2000 to get the weather forecast.

SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY---Friday

  • Students must wear shirts with NLCA logos, which may be purchased in the office.
  • Jean shorts or pants are accepted. 

DRESS STANDARD ENFORCEMENT
Students who are out of dress standards will be sent to the office to change into loaner clothes. The Principal will decide if the student is following dress standards.
